git clone https://github.com/badlogic/pi-skills ~/.pi/agent/skills/pi-skills## TL;DR
Mario Zechner's curated skill collection for pi-coding-agent — web search, browser automation, Google Calendar/Drive/Gmail CLIs, transcription, VS Code integration, and YouTube transcripts — also usable from Codex CLI, Amp, Droid, and Claude Code.
## Key points
- $Eight skills in the pi/Claude Code SKILL.md format: brave-search, browser-tools (Chrome DevTools Protocol), gccli, gdcli, gmcli, transcribe (Groq Whisper), vscode, and youtube-transcript.
- $The {baseDir} placeholder in each SKILL.md resolves to the skill's directory at runtime, so helper scripts ship next to the instructions.
- $Per-skill prerequisites: the CLI-backed skills install @mariozechner/gccli / gdcli / gmcli globally; browser-tools and brave-search need npm install in the skill directory; transcribe needs curl plus a Groq API key.
- $Cross-agent by design — the same clone works with Codex CLI (~/.codex/skills), Amp toolboxes, Droid, and Claude Code (which needs one-level-deep symlinks per skill).
## FAQ
Q User-level or project-level install?
Clone to ~/.pi/agent/skills/pi-skills for all projects, or .pi/skills/pi-skills inside a project to scope the skills to that codebase.
Q Why does Claude Code need symlinks?
Claude Code only discovers SKILL.md files one level deep, so each skill folder must sit directly under ~/.claude/skills — the README's pattern is cloning the repo once and symlinking individual skill folders.
