## TL;DR

## Key points

• $Keeps only what is pi-specific: universal harness-agnostic skills (git workflows, obi, playwright-cli, dora, exe-dev) live in the separate agents.dotfiles repo and are loaded directly by every harness.
• $Cherry-pick resources by listing extensions, skills, and themes under the git package source in ~/.pi/agent/settings.json (or .pi/settings.json per project) — omit a key to load all of that type, use [] to load none, !pattern to exclude; pi config then enables or disables individual resources from the TUI.
• $Safety guardrails: safe-delete intercepts destructive bash (rm on protected or large paths, find -delete, recursive chmod/chown, git clean -fdx, dd to devices, wildcard explosions, and more) and safe-commit prompts for confirmation before git commits.
• $Context management: /fold folds conversation history into a sentinel marker carrying a truncated prose digest, with search_folded and get_folded_message for retrieval; context-usage is a fold-aware footer with cache hit percentage, cost, and context bar; thinking-stash re-injects captured thinking tokens via /rethink; lazy-agents loads AGENTS.md files on demand.
